Compañía Naviera Natalia: Working for the natural reserves!

Last octuber, the services of Compañía Naviera Natalia were contracted to carry out the removal of debris and subsequent final disposal of the MY Albatros in the Galapagos Islands – Puerto Ayora. The goal of this work was to remove the sunken boat to preserve the nature reserve of the nearby islands.

We were chosen to carry out this great project, given the trajectory, equipment and professionals that our company has.

According to the work plan, the project will conclude during the month of December with the final disposal of the vessel. Likewise, any minor debris and debris will be cleaned. Since the beginning of the incident, a rigorous environmental care control procedure was implemented, which will continue during removal tasks.

The MY Albatros is a tourist passenger transport vessel of 30 meters in length, 7 meters in width, 150 tons of net weight. The same one that sank in April 2022 and that to date had not been able to be removed.

Congratulations to our team during this journey from El Callao to the Galapagos Islands! Especially to our Engineers, crew members, divers, crane drivers and maneuverers, who always work with great passion in all our projects.
