WE STRENGTHEN FRUIT FLY PREVENTION AND CONTROL WITH SENASA

May 4, 2023

As part of our commitment to food safety and in collaboration with the National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA), we successfully conducted the “Guidelines for Fruit Fly Control” training at our Fundo California facilities in Pisco.

The main objective of this training was to strengthen our relationship with SENASA and contribute to the role of the agri-food chain in the production of healthy products free of pests and diseases.

At AgroMIGIVA, we are committed to quality and food safety, and we strive to implement best practices at all stages of production. Fruit fly infestation is a common problem in fruit production, so we consider it important to be up-to-date on the best practices to prevent and control this pest.

For this reason, the training was attended by farm managers, fruit fly responsible staff, industrial production, supervisors, asset security, and evaluation. They all acquired new knowledge about best practices for preventing and controlling fruit fly infestation.

During the event, SENASA provided us with valuable tools to identify infestation symptoms and the best practices to prevent the spread of the pest. With this training, we are confident that we can implement more effective measures to control fruit fly infestation and ensure the quality and safety of our products.

We are proud to have collaborated with SENASA in this training and look forward to continuing to work together to ensure the production of healthy products free of pests and diseases. At AgroMIGIVA, we are committed to quality and food safety, and we will continue to implement best practices at all stages of production to achieve the best fruit in the world.
